I am intending mature (no pun intended) conversation and thought-provocation, and maybe mutual exchanges in these regards. No fighting.
Mostly, I'll be speaking from an artwork/porn point of view.
Mine has to be hypersexualized (bimbo?) characters, and I mean in the extreme case.. Beyond 'just' sex appeal.
Or characters/people that define themselves by their sexuality...
for example, someone decked out in rainbow clothing/jewelry 24/7 and anything/everything that has to do/says gay stuff about it... like. we get it. you're gay.
that's cool and all, but uh.. what's your personality? other than gay? what would you be if you didn't know what gay was??????
Anything noncon, because rape is bad mmkay. (I don't care if it's "just artwork", I still don't like it)
Anything underage (see statement above, because rape)
I am not okay or comfortable with these.. real or not. The fact that someone is turned on by the traumatic experience of robbing another person of their freedom and humanity really disturbs me.
Also, the rape "fetish" (being on the receiving end) confuses me... how can you have a fetish for noncon if you're obviously going to consent to "being raped"?? Wouldn't that just basically be rough sex? Like you literally cannot be raped if you are consenting.

Got that out of the way for ya
Other things I have problems with is cervical penetration.
Or just, bumping it in general, because, not sure if they've ever had that happen before.
But it hurts like a bitch, and is not pleasant.
Let alone, it's not meant to be penetrated, and you can always fuck around it.
Edit- also herm characters just because you need to have a 'dominant woman'
And having a dominant woman with a vagina doesn't make sense, so, slap a dick on it.
Those characters bug the hell out of me.
Same with the 'cboy' for the submissive nature.
90% of people think a herm is a girl with a dick (or a dick AND a taint/gooch-vagina, however that works). and that's kinda sad. I get a fetish is a fetish and most are harmless, but I guess I apply real life a little too much to what I see drawn. I get drawing and fantasy go hand in hand.
I think because just my personality and the fact that I used to RP so much, I have a certain amount of respect for my characters and the ones I draw, and couldn't imagine being all "lol I made this guy because I fucking love dicks that drag the floor" and nothing more. I don't treat them like sex objects. And I guess that makes me sound really prudish, but I'm not.. All I can really think of is the word 'respect'. XP
Not that I'm against actual herms, or herm characters that are accurate, but just the over fetishizing of it just turns me way the hell off.
And when I try to correct people on, lets say, how FTM (without bottom surgery) genitals look like, people are like, "Ew, no, I want a BIG DICK"
But it just isn't for me. One of the very few I decline for, 'dumb reasons'.
Also, it's always nice to have respect for your characters!
A well done story for a character can demolish any generalization of appeal physically.
Plenty of characters I've been commissioned to draw I might take fancy in. But sometimes if the personality sucks dick (literally-if thats all they do and metaphorically) then I just begin to dislike the character. Maybe I'm just grumpy or am picky and need a little more class in my characters. Hmmh.
First of all, a woman's body prepares itself for having a baby during LABOR. That is where dilation comes in.. you know. so the baby can pass. this does not happen during sex and forcing anything bigger than a toothpick is probably going to be ultra painful. Unless you're into pain. Speaking of which, storytime ---
My mom is a nurse and several years back this young couple came into the hospital. The boyfriend was FISTING the girlfriend, and LITERALLY broke her vagina. Like, ruptured it. She had to have surgery, which she did, and then went home.
A week after surgery, she's back in the hospital because she let herself get fisted again and busted out her fresh surgery. lol????
I get she probably had to patch her up again but, damn.
Some peoples children.
Look I have a pretty low tolerance of pain. Sexually, I can sometimes take certain limits depending on my mood. But holy shit fisting alone sounds terrible. But oh my god that's awful...I don't understand how that woman could want that.
I started my period when I was 11, and ever since then I had horrifically terrible, bloody, HEAVY periods that always left me bedbound. It's a whole new quality of life now thanks to birth control. But the point I was gonna make is, at least, as far as pain tolerance and this fisty lady story.. I had a minor surgery done (in a checkup room, at that) that involved the removal of a small bit of tissue from the opening of my vagina, because it made sexual penetration painful and I had to go "around it" with tampons. It was basically a thin strand that stretched across - basically like this
After the surgery, it hurt to sneeze, and sitting was awkward. I got a tube of pain-relieving gel to use down there, but it only dd so much. I cannot IMAGINE the immense pain that woman must have been in to not only let herself get fisted, but busted open. Spend the money for surgery to get fixed, then fucking let herself get busted open AGAIN. LIKE WHAT... WHAT???
Then I see the damned cervical penetration and, depending enough times if its all they draw, I unwatch.
It's way too cringe worthy for me. Almost nails on the chalkboard kind of cringe.
Sort of like adopt only accounts. I cannot watch them.
Just isn't for me :)
I mean... for me...the following confuses me...
-> Diaper fetish (I mean....huh?! And sad thing is I've seen RL versions of such by accident that made me go NOPE)
-> Hyper genitalia (a bit much.. and that's an understatement)
-> Vore (...not only not cute, but doesn't that end with people DYING?!)
There's others that also make me cringe, but I'd rather not want to make a big list.
But yeah, things that may turn on some people may most DEFINITELY not work in real life... unless that person is just THAT freaky (like that... fisting incident Sphynxpunk spoke of earlier... and I've seen RL videos of some women going way worse!!).
I've actually been very curious in learning why certain fetishes are a thing. I was once told that vore is looked upon as a 'closeness' and a deeper warmth and 'hugging' feeling. Weird, sure, and not my thing, but I can kinda understand I guess. I always feel like I have to know the 'why' with some things. I've also been told the 'why' of soiling oneself before but that fetish is still way too gross to me to really grasp why they'd get the 'rush' spoken of by bodily waste when there's other methods of reaching the same rush I was told it gives. Hyper, I've always just assumed is because of the curiosity and lust for 'bigger/more/better'. I never ever want to know or reason with an explanation of CP though.
As I've been a part of the fandom I've steadily realized that sometimes a fetish is just a fantasy curiosity. I am very much into oviposition for example. Can it happen irl? No. Would I want it to happen irl? Fuck no, it's pretty much birth. There are small fantasy toys to sate that curiosity, but I mean, they're fake and small so it's still a fun thing to play with a partner with. I am sure most people in the fandom can indeed differ between fantasy and reality fetishes and kinks, but I've met several people who indeed were simply ignorant to x or y fetish and then realized 'Oh god this isn't fun or how it works' when trying it irl.
Know what really concerns me though? There's apparently ways to attempt to enjoy the inflation fetish irl. And people do them. And honestly that seems super fucking dangerous...
Yes it is a natural instinct of males to feel certain drives, but not because they are power thirsty monsters. In fact most of the reasoning I have seen for the list of a bigger set of genitals in males is established from insecurity which is taught to young boys very early on from media and society.
There's too much blame on one sex or the other. Yes, I'm sure this fetish may exist for some males exactly as you said, but I've never met a male with the fetish or even close to said fetish because they have a power lust. Every single male I've ever met was either just ignorant to how sex works, or literally had issues with their penis size because their friends/family/media sucks ass.
Gotta look at the bigger picture here.
Most people don't even realize that I happen to be gay because I act 'too straight'...what does that even mean?
Not every gay guy talks with a lisp or wears rainbow jewelry all the time.
But for me, my two biggest turn offs is ageplay/underage and bestiality.
Which I know more or less normalized on FA, but it's not something I could ever get behind, or defend.
Ageplay for me defines not just characters or people that are underage, but characters or people who also look or possibly act underage too.
I really dislike the stuff where the focus is very clearly on the genitalia and not the character's face or like..idk individuality literally doesn't matter and it could literally be anyone and the picture wouldn't change. :o
I like porn that very clearly has an expression of character, if that makes sense..? Where the focus is less on the act and more on the character's individual beauty.
I also find a lot of what you listed to be a "turn off" as well. >_<
Like Emeto, I also sorta don't tend to like most "herm" female characters as they just seem like a desperate swipe for as many different kinds of genitalia on one body as possible and not actually done with respect or admiration for something that could be intersexed. That said, I've seen a few I liked, but they always came with more explanation than "because it's hot".
also... the good ole "teehee vagina/penis" comments.
like yes, thank you for noticing this character has genitals. man I never would have known otherwise. like I didn't even know I drew them there. wheweee.
The current list (subject to change without warning) also includes:
Anal (which I used to like)
Extreme fat/muscle/parts ... if it's not physically possible by a significant margin, it'll probably make me twitch. I can take a fair amount, enjoy it to an extent, but past a line it's just not my thing. Where that line is changes periodically.
Death/violence/vore: I can go there in a well-written story sometimes, but the art has never worked for me in a sexual sense.
Pairings/depictions I just can not wrap my brain around in fanart. There aren't many I can't even buy with a setup, but I run across them every so often.
Humans/near humans about 90% of the time. Sometimes I cross paths with sexual human art I enjoy, but it's an unusual thing.
Other higher primates (real or fictional): just *ick*
And this is also why I agonize over my characters' peen design. Not that many of them every use the thing, but still.
However, when it comes to anthro art/porn, I can't get down with the animal genitalia. ESPECIALLY horse cocks. Really bothers me lmao. All my male anthro characters have human genitalia, some with/some without a sheath.
Like 80% of furry porn is over dramatized, enlarged, muscle inflated, physically deformed sex that isn't even sexy.
It really bothers me.
Scat play/watersports I will never get over. Who what why how does anyone enjoy that??
HOW. HOOOW.
I understand ultimately that fetishes are a result of your brain saying 'that's hot' and everyone is their own unique brand of that, so I can see how some people have their wires crossed to be that way, but to me it's just too close to the subject matter (IE, Babies) for me to find any kind of joy in that way.
Side Comment!
I -like- Fantasy sexuality. That is, sexuality that isn't real. Lines on paper, words cobbled together, are infinitely more visually arousing than real people. I'd rather enjoy the male and female form as they are drawn rather than in person.
