My mom has discovered the content of my art and fiercely opposes it, and told me that I can't draw it under her roof. I'm trying to move out as soon as I can, but that might be a while. Of course, I'm going to keep drawing what I like to draw. I love making art for you guys. It isn't right that my parents think they can dictate what I can and can't create based on their religious ideology. After all, I'm not forcing them to see it nor am I suggesting that they support me (I'm going to start paying for rent and internet until I can get out of here.)

While you might think that the best thing to do Is to leave, I don't think you should be taking such a harsh decision, I would try to talk It out with my parents In a calm way, religion is something I hate (and Personally think shouldn't exist at all) however, I live perfectly fine with my parents which are pretty religious; the point here, Is that they are your Parents, not just random people (like me cx) and you should probably try to make them understand that what you do is not wrong in any sense, many people here In FA are kinda religious and they don't have the slightest problem with It, personally, I'm finding pretty hard to tell my parents about It, but they seem to be willing to understand although they don't like the Idea at all.
To summarize, I would suggest you to not leave the place where you live unless It is absolutely necessary, things are pretty hard "out there" (telling you by experience I guess), and I would also suggest you to try to talk things out with your parents, try to be calm about It.
And that's my "advice" (If It can be considered one) for you, I really hope you're able to sort things out, they are your Parents after all c:
