D&D Journal of Jaml 1
So I want to make up some journals about the D&D adventure with my mind flayer sorc Jaml. I'll have to make the first journal super long seeing as I will have to summaries the older adventures and get it all caught up. Its going to be in 1st person but as I have said before the first will be lengthy and bare minimum on the details until it's caught up. OK here we go.
Personal journal of Illithid Jaml sorcerer.
My adventure started in a tavern like all or most seem to start. A flyer that promised treasure and what not. Knowing that these flyers were all over the town I left as soon as I had my gear. Hopping that there was still treasure to be found.
At the entrance I met up with a feline fighter. I talked my way into getting her to help me out, could use a sturdy meat shield so to speak. Her name was Chessa. After clearing a couple of rooms we set up camp, so that I could refresh my spells.
The next morning we met up with two more adventurer's. Another feline a wizard and a lizard cleric of the sunbutt. Cleric are good to have around. The wizard seems annoyed at me for no reason, at the time I had no idea about how wizards saw sorcerers. I tried my best to be friends with him. The new comers were named Arrow and Kelseth.
We continued on fighting through undead and goblins. There was puzzles too which I stayed away from. The final room reveled a blue drake! The battle was long and harsh, Chessa and I had fallen Kelseth landing the killing blow and bringing us up. I recall taking the horns of the beast but they are not in my pack anymore.
After our first adventure we all figured we should travel together. Kelseth became out leader I really didn't want to fight a huge mace wielding lizard for the title. The next adventure I have a hard time remembering too well. I remember goblins and a cave. The last encounter was of a huge hobgoblin and with that beast down we fought a tiny dragon. The loot we encountered, while interesting was the towns therefor I could not take any without feeling the wrath of Kelseth.
While heading to the town of Glendale the caravan we were traveling with hit trouble while trying to cross the bridge. I have no strength like at all so I was no real help. But we managed to save most of the caravan people. Two new members joined up with us, a half elf named Samus and a half-ling named Osborne. I gotta say Samus is pretty hot but its hard to tell if she likes being around me and its hard to read Osborne.
We found out that one of the passengers in the caravan was the mayors son. When Kelseth heard that he promised to find the child like a hero. That night we stayed in the mayors house and while the rest of us slept Osborne was up to see a portal open up and a strange hooded man come out. Before the half-ling could attack he was forced to sleep but not before the rest of us heard the commotion. We were no match for the hooded man and his buddies.
The next morning was horrific as the town burst into a blast of fire. But somehow we managed to stay alive in a ward of some kind that even Arrow couldn't tell who made it. This adventure turned from a kidnapping to saving the world it would seem.
We left the now glasses town of Glendale and headed to Riverside, catching a ride on a ship and finding, thanks to me, a box of volatile magics. Kelseth and Chessa came up with the idea of having the box taken somewhere safe as to not have a repeat of Glendale. We arrived in riverside and helped out a very nice lady named Marabelle, who happened to own the local brothel. One of her side quests brought us face to face with the hooded man from before, Arrow faced off against the evil sorc with my help. Chessa managed to capture a young man and a trader from riverside who was working with the cultist. Heading back we were greeted with battle, constructs had assaulted the town. We fought them off and won.
Marabelle informed us of a hermit that could help us with the cultist and we departed for the town of emeral. Along the way we took a side quest and cleared out some bandits that worked for the trader we had captured.
