Just less than a month after Quasi. This is a very sad tragedy...

Losing Quasi was harder on us. After Draconis' heart attack, he came down and spent some time with us to make sure that Draconis was doing all right. I'm going to post some pictures soon that we took that have him in it. I just found them yesterday.

Not a great start to the fandom...

Damn and I watch both of them. Sad to hear more fellow furs die in car accidents.

This is VERY sad news, indeed ! I cannot imagine what was going through the drivers mind, traveling that kind of speed on a local road, now he has to live the rest of his life knowing that he killed two friends *sighs heavily and shakes head* All I can say is that I really hope it was an instantaneous death for the two that died in that crash and that they did not suffer! 2017 is not starting off very good, we don't want a repeat of last year! *wipes tears from eyes*

Indeed, I just lost somebody rather close to me as well (non-fur). I won't go into detail (out of respect for the wishes of her surviving family) but suffice to say, she was terminally ill, and we saw it coming. The fact that she survived 2016 alone said a lot about her fighting spirit.
Death will always be a part of life, though we all wish it wasn't. The best we can do is make the most of the time we've got, and not take anybody for granted, because you never know when they'll be gone, and nobody knows for certain what happens after this life. At the end of the day, things like politics, race, religion, or even species don't matter. Nobody can say for certain what this life means, but we're all living creatures on the same planet, and must treat each other with love and respect.
