Only shitty thing I noticed about it was the fact that, I gained around 30 watchers I think it was? for advertising my raffle for a few days, after I picked the winners, 7 people then removed their watch haha

I dont think journals are actually posted anywhere, so when you make them, only people that already have you on watch will be able to see them, or anyone that clicks on your profile
