I think that FA actually prevents the title from being too long by cutting off what's over the limit.

They should have a system in place that detects when someone uses a clickbait title, so when they go to post the journal they get an error that says: "NOT TODAY JERKFACE. TRY AGAIN!"

The issue is that it would be just about every journal then. Even those who are trying to get a message out truthfully.

I like this idea.

My journal feed is full of crap that are just one or two words and tell you nothing whats in them.
You have to click to see if its something you want to read or not. I miss plenty just because i don't have the time so i just nuke it all.

Its easy enough to make a title that is short yet informative.
"Important: delays on commissions"
"Update: Lost cat found"
"To all commissioners: Offering refunds"

That would be understandable, and some do from what I see, but again, FA does have a title-character limit.

That's actually what I do with most of my journals. -_-
Most of them are seriously eighter full of crap, do not interest me or does not consern me.
Other than that, there's only a few journals I read just because some specific person posted them. You included. :p

Artists need to stop using their Journals to update commissioners on things and just contact them directly.
People don't always read journals

Commissioner: "Do you have an update on my commission?"
Artist: What.. didn't you read my latest journal?
Commissioner: "No I didn't look at your journal. Just like I don't go to USPS's Twitter to see what fucking state my package is in delivery."
