Try a Green tea with honey and lemon. Also, if none of the 'cold' remedies work, it may not be a cold at all... maybe some allergies? In that case try Pseudophed, works good for either. IF you can find it, Triaminicin is excellent!

Ugh. If it continues for a bit, you may have an allergy for sure. That's the Zyrtec and Claritin. The store brand versions work as well, but you have to take them constantly (1/day) and let it build up to get some long-term relief.

I already take clairitin-D 24/7 due to chronic sinusitis. Apparently, this is a VERY vicious cold bug. It's going' away now I'm in the spot-fever perdiod, where I don't run an actual fever, just get the occasional flush and sweats. Sometime tonight it'll break and I'll not be so damned fatigued. What apparently works, is flonase to control the inflammation of the sinuses, and either claritin or Loratadine to control the production. Once I can get control of those, I should manage. Course the hilarity is, by the time the meds start working, I'll probably be over the illness. Joy and rapture. The niggling cough and phlegm is all that's left.
