*Ghost written, and personally financed (his companies buy them), the 'sales' are inflated because many are given away, not genuinely purchased. Referred to as a Vanity Press, such publishers are not new, many well-known authors have brought out books this way. For instance, Mark Twain. Though Twain could not have used them if he hadn't had highly successful books prior and made the money to pay for Vanity publication.
