Your old work is great. So it's not as skillful as your new stuff? Every piece is a step along the path. Don't ever feel ashamed of them. They're how you got to where you are now. Think about it-at the time it was the best you could do. Each piece involved time, effort, frustration and a ton of learning. You started with nothing and got something that evoked a thought or feeling and helped you get that much better.

Really-be kind to yourself and be proud of your accomplishments no matter how minor you might feel they are. Every line drawn takes you that much farther.
