Late New Years Resolution

Happy New Year about a month ago. Been super busy at work and also doing home renovations so my desktop was packed away for a bit, but yeah, I have an an office and a desk now. So with a proper place to art and all, I've got a a few goals for the year. First off, I'd like to average a submission a week this year. I'm a little behind, but I have a bunch of pages of a comic pending submission once I get a little further along.
In addition to quantity, I'd also like to improve my are quality, so I've got a few things I'd like to improve on:
- Work on backgrounds
- Try drawing characters other than dragony lizard dudes
- Learn Blender and try to do some modelling
- Maybe try some animation
I probably don't have enough time to dedicate to all four this year, so I'm curious what you folks would recommend I work on this year.

Submitting something each week sounds like a great goal, too! Something I could definitely stand to implement in my life, as well. I'm not sure how much it might help, but a tip I've received is to set aside just a few minutes each day to draw something -- anything -- at a preset time embedded into your daily schedule.
Other than that, just keep yourself disciplined with sticking to your goals and I'm sure you'll do great!
