It's nothing serious is it? Maybe just a flu or something? I mean they're pretty bad too, but it'd be horrible to hear it's something potentially life threatening D:


Aaah I think the way you've been doing it has been pretty good as it is :o
I mean, I know an artist is generally their own worst critic, and I'd just kill (not literally) to be able to draw half as well as you've been doing even if you don't feel it's as good.... But whatever you feel is best! If you're really not happy with how it's turning out (I love it though ;v; ) then that's what's important. Just don't be TOO hard on yourself mkay? ^^;

It's been up and down. It started out small then developed into Strep Throat, now I'm dealing with the drainage. If I don't get well soon then I'll probably have to make another trip to the doctors. Hopefully that won't be necessary!

Also, when I said 'when I get better I plan to get back on track with it' I meant when I'm not sick anymore I'll try and post every monday again, sorry, guess I worded it confusingly.
But you're still correct, I am my own worst critic x'D

Yeah, I mean your art is a pretty high quality... It's been inspiring to me even, very much so. The fine attention to detailings and the colors and crisp linearts... I can understand not being entirely happy with what you produce, and/or wanting to try a different style, but you definitely should at least accept it's good still :>

I had a cold last year that ended up having an infection that lingered on for weeks. A cough that just would not go away despite the cold having passed, so I went up to the clinic and they gave me this special inhaler or something, and after a week or two of taking that it finally went away. The whole time up until then I kept hoping it'd just pass, but it wouldn't. After a while it even started to get worse - so I was glad I got that when I did xD


Oh it is very much so! Looking over those detailed moufs, and those gorgeous eyes, lots of lovingly drawn detail in there. Really keeps me trying to push to draw better and improve, because there's so much beautiful arts in your gallery - and that handsome lagiacrus ;v;
I can see you put a lot of heart into your drawings.

Yeeeeah maybe I'll visit the doctor again on my day off. I'm dealing with a cough/drainage for days after the strep throat passed. And I'm just waiting around for it to pass but nothing has changed much (also doesn't help I have to wake up at 3:30am for work!)

I'm glad to hear my art has been inspiring you to keep practicing! ;u; I never thought that one day it would inspire others, and to be reminded of that is really something special to me.

Yeah, don't wait too long since it might be one of those post-illness infections that just refuses to go away and no amount of waiting will do away with it. Might even get worse :'(


I'm sure its inspired others too, but I wanted to let you know personally how important your art's been to my motivation to keep trying to get better and not give up. There's a few artists I really like that have been providing that inspiration, and you're certainly one of them ^^
I hope you keep striving to improve, since your art's already great - and it can only get better from here :> And if you want to be trying out new styles and methods, I'd love to see that~
