TIIIIIIIME OUT!
Get set...
And go!
So last month I was busy moving my entire studio and small business up from St. Louis to snowy, snowy Michigan so I could live with my boyfriend
kazekoe ! The move was, initially, a nightmare but I stuck it out and now things are better than ever! I'm more productive, I'm losing weight (hello high school weight and bod, I've missed you), and I live with a most excellent man.
The only thing that's been bad has been catching up! The Holidays, combined with moving set me way back but I'm actually almost back on track! Last month I pretty much had to do all of my December commissions and pages along with the January ones, suffice it to say I've been busy getting you guys your art. Because of that combo I decided to just mail all the December and January stuff together so I didn't get confused. There's a giant "Out" pile in the studio, so if you don't see your art by the end of the month: send me a message and I'll figure out what's wrong and get you your butt-art.
Speaking of the Patreon (It's here: https://www.patreon.com/bone ) there are going to be some changes to the commission tiers. Two things are going to happen next month:
1: The $50, $75, and $100 tiers are going to be upped to match my regular commission prices: $60, $90, and $120 to be precise.
2: The $90 and $120 tiers will no longer contain both originals, one will be mailed (choose, or I'll choose for you), and I will keep the other one to sell (naturally the original commissioner will have first dibs).
So, why am I doing this? Fairness, to myself and commissioners who get their stuff the "regular" way. The Patreon has been up for a little over a year now and it's been an incredibly good deal for people wanting hand drawn furry art. I wanted to do it for a year to prove I could and early adopters, who trusted me, deserved something extra for their faith in me. You guys are crazy and I wanted to go the extra mile for you. I also increased my regular commission prices (due to demand) so I also don't want people who don't want to use Patreon to feel ripped off. There's a sort of intrinsic understanding with the commission tiers that you're going to stay on for more than a month (and everyone has, WOW!) so that consistency makes their value that much higher. Also: making money off my work is fun and I want to make more so I can do EVEN MORE comics for y'all to read. This is how I do that.
I also live and die by conventions so expect to see me at the following cons this year:
-FurSquared
-TFF
-FWA
-BLFC
-Anthrocon
-IFC (Maybe)
-RMFC
-GFM
-MFF
Due to demand increase I'll be taking fewer and fewer commissions at cons so either get to me fast or jockey for slots on the Patreon (two are open for next month, grab 'em now!). Otherise: have an awesome rest of the year, mine's been great!
