i use the dark theme, therefore my profile and journals cater to it. i apologize if it's difficult to read in the light theme, though i did try to use colors that would be easily visible on either; however, if you can't, highlighting the text should provide enough contrast to read it :3 there's really not much new to say, but i promised an update for anyone who was interested, so here it is. my mother and i are still homeless, and have been since the 27th or 28th of december, i forget which. we're currently living in a homeless shelter, which has a ton of restrictive rules and no internet access, which is why i haven't been and won't be online much. i haven't been able to draw much digitally, because i'm only allowed my laptop from sometime after 9am (whenever a staff member has the time to go get it) until about 330 pm. i was forced to surrender most of my cats; anyone who knows me knows that my cats are my children, and losing most of them is the hardest part of all of this. i also ended up losing my printer/scanner and many of my other belongings in my house, so i won't be able to scan the traditional art i've been doing. the one up side is that i have been reading a lot and working on various creative projects. hopefully when all of this is over, i'll have a cool yarn tail set to show off, plus some traditional sketches and a pair of projects i've started that will take forever, but hopefully be cool when they're done. my mom and i have applied for several different places to live, so now we just have to wait and hope that we get accepted somewhere.
that's all for now, i hope that the rest of you are having a better year so far than i have been. and remember to keep your friends close; without mine, i'd have long since gone crazy.
and thanks, i appreciate the thought. at least two of them went to friends locally, but losing the others was the worst of all.
