If memory serves, wasn't there controversy over the patriots due to some deflated balls that could have...given them an edge, somehow? Not with the super bowl but this was something about them in the past, so I can see why people would be upset/angry over them winning, but not to the point of rioting. Rioting because a team lost isn't new, it happens rather often, specially when it comes to soccer aka football.

It was the Patriots with the deflated ball thing. Brady got punished with I believe a 4 game suspension at the beginning of the season.

I mean as much as I could care less about football, i can understand the feel of your team losing but going as far as hurting people just over this is what breaks me, I hate to see these kinds of things happen to people.

And I also hate to say this too but the coaches and the players are just as bad, trying to get an upper hand on the other team by illegallly sabotaging them with whatever they can muster. I don't understand why, can't everyone just play fair like sports are meant to be?
