Many already knew this day was coming up, but - it's done. Defended my thesis today. I passed. All my committee signed. All I have to do are some thesis edits and file, then it'll be official.
But yeah. For all intents and purposes... I'm a PhD now. Woo hoo.
Going to go sleep for a week now. Hopefully I'll get back to writing after the next couple weeks. :)

Many years and much frustration, time, and effort is put into it. (AND MONEY TOO, Ugh)
But now that you've got a doctorates, you can keep that head raised high!

You are fighting a good fight, we're all proud of you for devoting your efforts to aid with cancer.
Again, congrats: this is an incredible accomplishment, and You deserve it for all the hard work you've done:)
Celebrate it good, after the hibernation, haha.

If only there was a way you could tell that you had cancer before going to the doctor to get a whole bunch of expensive tests done. :P Thats one of the reasons it goes undiagnosed till its too late a lot of times.
Hope that means you get to rest for as much as you want now~
