It's started a long time ago actually. I just have trouble finding a reason go come here. There are only two or so people who pay any attention to what I do and I don't really have time to give attention back.

Yes, you are one of the two.

I ask the same question myself everytime I make art, but lately I've come to the same conclusion:

I just like to make art.
If people like it or give me popularity is just an extra. Even someday making money off my art is extra. In the end I like to make art for arts sake.
Who knows, maybe one day my art will inspire others to do art just as I was inspired to do art for discovering obscure artists or drawings that didn't "make it big" or were "immensely popular."

I guess in the end we need to ask ourselves what it is we're trying to get out of it?
I just want to get better right now. If people like my art, that's cool, I appreciate it, but I just want to create for creation sake.

I don't know what you're going through personally, but I like to think that I can empathize.

It's not that I've stopped drawing or anything, just that I haven't been using this site aside from looking at journals.

I was being a little hyperbolic with the 2 statement. I'm not planning on leaving per say, just not really posting things. I'm on other sites, this one has just been lacking to me.

What other sites? DeviantArt, because if so I havent touched that account for a while, but if so, I'll scrape the cobwebs off my account.
