So like I'm pretty sure my valentine heart butt base just got jacked. I'm a little stunned and not really sure if I should say or do anything about it. I mean I know you cannot really copy a pose, but an entire concept? This is incredibly uncomfortable.

Yeah--same pose doesn't really count. unfortunately unless its obviously traced. o-o Maybe overlay it to check?
And yeah--heart butt icons have been a thing for years ^^ even MLP got in on it.

I did overlay it. Its a bit longer and narrower than mine is. Its just the degree of similarity and the fact it came out a day after mine did. Moreover that even the way they did the writing over it to sell it kinda reminds me of mine lol.

The classic heart shape has always been based on the pose of a woman bending over, so it's nothing new. They even did a joke about it on 'Big Bang Theory' a few years back. If you do a quick search here on FA for 'butt, base", you'll come up with dozens of results. There's one from over a year ago that looks really similar to what you've made. So, I'm sure it's just coincidence.

Yeah and I get that. Its just the angle is the same, the way the tail comes up is the same, the way the writing is over it is the same, it came out a day after mine, etc. It just puts me off.

Just Do it. Like. I wouldn't get discouraged, your art is still you. I'd check it out, I certainly don't know who took your idea, there are a ton of butt bases.

I'mma just sit here and wait for you to do the do and make them arts. Orrr you could do titty bases. I wish people did more kissy faces.

I admit, it's hard to stand out where everyone has made alot of different things. I can tell you what I don't see alot of. No one really tackles romantic like bases. Something that a person could color and then give to someone they like. I think that'd be sweet. Kinda like a chain.
