It is eeeeeevil and unmanageable and kinda sucks a lot tbh like if you wore a helmet and took it off it would probably fro or who knows what and then it would just...sad...

My mom has curly hair! She uses conditioner and no shampoo + dries her hair with a shirt rather than a towel because apparently it helps? I used to have EXTREME CORKSCREW CURLS when I was younger. Now I just have really wavy hair. BUT I have heard they're no bueno to have ahaha.

My character can have curls that affro in the humidity, your character can have extremely long hair that trips everyone up. LETS GO.

Neverwinter is pretty okay with character customization if you're ever into that? It has sliders, but they're kinda okay? The game is free as well!

Omg I used to have super cute hair like that but I tried to get it chemically straightend "professionally" when I was 12 and she burned me and my hair has grown weird ever since and it stops growing at about 4 inches ;___; it's been a year and a half since I shaved it shiny bald and it has grown to a little above my ears RIP

Hilariously enough both I and Percy have curly hair lol. It's just interesting (and annoying) that even though at least one in three people have curly hair there's almost a complete lack of representation in videogames (specifically character customization). The closest we usually get is wavy. GRANTED, it is kind of a bitch to code, which is why Brave won all sorts of awards for their curly hair animation engine. But like, I know personally there's a huge stigma against curly and nappy hair in current western society. Like this is a WEIRDLY SPECIFIC TANGENT to go on I know lol, but as someone who grew up hating my curls and trying to straighten them out and seeing the attitudes towards curls working in the beauty industry, I'm always going to be an advocate for loving your hair and loving curls.
BUT diversity in video games is a HUGELY in depth and complex topic lol.
But the hate it love it addage is old as time haha. It's just curious to see a very low level of representation in character customizers. (Though we do loop back to the coding there. I just want my cake and eat it too man iS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK WORLD OF WARCRAFT ///IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK//// )

And yes, the lack of curls in video games is a matter of discussion in our home as well. My husbab is a gamer/coder.
