There's a cruel irony in being someone who dresses up as a dog man and now sick as one. YEP, I'm sick again folks. My head is a horrible faucet of funk, my throat is all scratchy, and my strength has taken a week of leave which sucks because there for awhile I was doing pretty good on my workouts and getting some really nice results! BUT, if my choice of car has taught you anything it's that I am a remarkably stubborn and determined cuss so I'm moving along with something I've been mulling over for awhile now.
On Tuesday, in about two days, I will be making my return to my DeviantArt Account!!! Before I scare anyone, no I'm not leaving FA. I absolutely love and adore the furry fandom and I'm happy with the name I'm making for myself in this big fuzzy family. But before I had ever even heard of Fur Affinity, I was an avid user of DeviantArt and I feel a certain desire to keep that old horse running. With everything I have over there I don't want to, and never did want to abandon it. But issues over there saw that for about two years I lost my desire to be active over there. I started out writing (now in my standards) very poor Halo fanfics that, over time, began to get better and bring me an audience. I began to expand my interests and uploaded pictures of my Doctor Who OC, dabbled in the Zim Fandom, and continued to spread my fanfic interest until I had a lot of people following me and interested in my work. It wasn't very good, but hey we all start somewhere. Then, I began to upload my original Sci Fi content once I had enough people behind me encouraging me to do so and I feel like I hit my stride over there. So for that reason, I'm going to start uploading stuff there too. My plan is, for Tuesday, to batch upload a lot of my Infinity Quest content there (both new and old as I've been working on it coming up on 13 years!) And copy my FA Gallery Over there too. Once that's sorted out I'm going to link my DeviantArt back here and let my two worlds meet and hopefully generate some forward momentum with my presence online as I march forward to the hopeful April completion of my novel. I'm going to keep FA for my more modern pictures and as a timeline of my growth as an artist while DA is going to house old works and new. I'm going to let it hold my old content publicly so I can look to that stuff and tackle it later as well as share how far I've come, my ideas over the years, and more of what I've created and how I've developed as a person with all of you wonderful people willing to give me the time of day!
While being sick has slown me down, it's not stopped me yet. And God willing I'm going to throw myself at this with all I've got tomorrow to finish up some art for the dump of my Original Series from over there and then upload a journal here leading over there. Then on Tuesday I'm going to unleash the floodgate on DA and upload a batch of stuff then link them over here! As for Infinity Quest, I will upload and showcase my newer works here while DeviantArt will get the looks at my old designs and ideas as they evolve as well as the new stuff. My First Infinity Quest related upload to FA will be my first project after this batch upload and will feature one of my species as well as a cross over with an amazing and talented artist, writer, and all around swell person
Valsalia So be on the lookout for that!!
Alright I think that's about all I wanted to talk about and give you guys the heads up on. Aside from that I'm just working on trying to keep up a head of steam and meet up my obligations irl like at work and getting over this cold while dealing with a blown up TV, a dead phone, and my car Cassandra which all of you have been so great and supportive over! lol so I guess before I end this and crash for the night with a bottle of Airborne and a box of tissues I'll give everyone whose interested a....
CASSANDRA'S CONDITION UPDATE!!!!
I've not yet been able to tackle the rust and there's no major pictures or anything worth uploading. I'm working on filming the first episode of my repair of her, but such things take time to edit and gather enough footage for. I've gotten all three of her pulley wheels at the front of her engine block to freely spin, I've dug a trench under her so I can slide under to work, and I've cleared up the foggy plastic on her instrument panel. We drilled out her trunk lock today, my dad and I, looking to open the trunk to remove the lid to begin combating the rust and finally knowing the condition of the last part of her that we've not been able to see. UNFORTUNATELY, despite drilling the lock out, the latch refuses to surrender and still has quite the fight left in it. I'm going to see what I can do tomorrow on my tight timeframe. But again, my head it a horrible leaking factory of sick soup. Also the metal in one spot seems to be separating from the frame. I'll be unable to tell if the trunk lid is salvageable or if it will need to be replaced until I get that open. However, I will continue to soldier on! I'm not so easily dissuaded and everything thus far has been going together rather great!
I'm going to go lay down now guys and gals. My eye is leaking, my nose is on fire and itches inside, and my throat is tickly and weird and I don't much care for it. I appreciate the fact that anyone would want to keep up with my art, I'm honored by your support in my art and my repair work on my car, and I'm humbled by every ounce of your friendship in my life. I love you all so much and thank you for helping me eek out my little blip on the radar. You all mean a lot to me. So thank you, thank you all so much.
