Valentine's Day

I think Valentine's Day is a useless and stupid holiday.
Because for one, we should be trying to treat our loved ones with kindness EVERY DAY, not just every Feb 14th. It just gives lazy people a reason to do something nice for their partner, or family/friend for just one day.
Secondly, now it's turned to day that also gives a big middle finger to those who are or feel lonely.
So I don't celebrate it. Think I'm grouchy old loner, deal with it, it's my opinion. Love each other every day, not one day.
That's all I've got to talk about. Have a nice afternoon.

While I agree that you should do nice things all the time, I find it nice to treat someone extra in ways they cant be treated. Fancy super expensive restaurant, overpriced chocolates, and anything I cant truly do on the average day. Also, doing bigger things, like getting chocolates or flowers every day kinda makes the gesture loose meaning, so having a day for it is better in a way. Little things can take the spotlight on the average day, and people dont need to stress super large things on the average day. Everyone really wins.

As a couple I think it is actually an acceptable occassion to do something extraordinary, although the other 364 days for sure shouldn't be cold. But as a single I don't really care for it one way or the other. I just use it as cheap occassion to draw porn. Like I use every occassion for porn.

Well said, my fellow grouchy old loner! I tell you what, if I've got no-one to send a Valentine's to, I just make a new effort to search for a woman to love. I'm going to put myself on a new dating website soon. With luck, that will produce results. Oh, and anyone who knows a straight or bi girl in the fandom, if she's also a UK resident, message me!
