For god's sake please don't make it a crossover.
Fuck you hard, Mitsubishi (and Carlos Ghosn). You just killed the Lancer Evolution and now you're bringing the Eclipse back in form of a poor excuse for automotive taste instead of what it was defined as.

The "Eclipse Cross" is a trade off since I believe it's replacing the very dated Outlander Sport/ASX model.
As for the death of the Evo, there was no rally program behind the Evo x, hence why I never changed from 2008 to 2015. Sales were getting bad, Mitsu was losing money on them so they pulled the plug.
I could see this not only replacing the ASX/Outlander Sport but Mitsu using this in place of the Outlander in rally, and we could see a RalliArt model if that's the case.
A compact crossover, turbo I4, AWD with rally tech behind it? I'm hopeful...
