Falls are scary to deal with when our comes to the elderly. Just went through something similar with my mum. Thankfully nothing broken, but so terribly bruised. But I fear next will be taking the license away from her. She had nearly no night vision, drives slow and weaves about in the lane. She came home the other night after running her impala backwards on another, white colored vehicle. Headlamp cracked and bracket broken, extensive paint and body damage, the bumper is nearly a loss. *sigh* She is okay, but I just wonder how much longer before something worse happens?
