I hate it when people are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a generic pose YCH

Specifically I remember an auction wolfy-nail ( i think it was him) did a few years back where all it is was a missionary sex position. The catch was that it could be a gay pic and one of the winners ended up paying over a $1000 dollars for a single picture

It just doesn't feel like a real commission to me. I mean, obviously they're popular for a variety of reasons, but I feel like the commissioner having close to zero creative control takes away a lot of the fun and point of commissioning. I especially don't like how, typically, multiple users can get the same pose/pic; again, I know these are super popular, but it kinda cheapens and genericizes the drawing when there's like twenty near-identical versions of it floating around FA.

What they bug me are the money they could get higher and higher prices

I feel like it's interesting - it allows an artist to draw what they want, while people who like the art can then be featured in it and essentially donate the bring it about. I feel like it's a neat balance, and comes with the interesting effect of showing someone that they wanted something they would have never otherwise thought of.
