Well, filed my taxes. Instead of the $400 range I was expecting to get back, I now owe almost $800 this year. NO idea what changed. Working at the same place as I was the last half of last year, and was set up to get a refund. Ugh. UGH.
...I got a distinct feeling that the woman 'helping' me had no idea what was going on, though, so I'm definitely heading somewhere else and having them give me a second look.
Having to pay out a month's worth of income just like that = shitty when you're already poor as hell.
This is super depressing. So much for my mood this weekend.
