Wow, this is my first journal and it’s about my two-month anniversary. I dedicate this journal to the love of my life Doonbal the best man and husky anyone could ever ask for. Two months doesn’t seem like a long time, but we have been friends way before that.

I remember when you first messaged me. You were so casual and friendly. I was standoff-ish and shy, but you kept trying to talk to me so I let you in. Even though we weren’t ever around at the same time I’d still be happy to come back to a message from you. You thought you were being annoying, I saw it as cute. You thought your sense of dark humor would be too much for me to handle, but I laughed right along with you. There were obvious signs of chemistry between us, but we didn’t act on it right away. Instead we let it grow and when the time was right we’d know.

December 19th is the first time you told me you loved me. To be honest, I was shocked, astonished that you had said it first. Weeks prior I had thought about telling you that I loved you, but I was too scared that you’d reject me. When you said those three little words that hold so much value and meaning everything that I had felt for you was validated. I love you so much.

As you know I have had a very screwed up past. One that is dark and unforgiving, but you are my new found light, my breath of fresh air, my knight in shining armour, and the reason I know what true love really is. You care so much about me and I’ve never had that in my life before. It feels so amazing to be loved by someone I just want to give my all to and I’m so happy it’s you. You spoil me even though I don’t deserve it. You comfort me when I’m feeling upset. You never leave me alone even when I insist to be, because you know me better than that. You shower me with love and affection every second of every day.

I have never read something as meaningful, loving, kind hearted, sweet and beautiful in all my life, it feels even better knowing that I'm the man who it talks about. If I could tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you, I'd need to reinvent the word love so it lives up to the standard of love I feel for you. Right now, the word love needs to be thousands of times stronger for it to be close to how much I love you.
