I feel like your rules make complete sense and it's absurd that there is any amount of people you have to /block/ just so you have a comfortable follower list. Are there really that many nasty....people,,,

I'll admit that I didn't read your profile. I saw your art on the new submissions, really liked the pastels and bright colours and how curvy and organic it was. I looked at your gallery, liked what I saw, and followed. I tend to be a quiet follower, speaking up now and then.

It's your little corner here, as we all have our own, and we are visitors. It's like coming inside someone's home. You don't just kick off your shoes and rummage through their fridge. It's a different thing entirely if permission is given.

I do hope I didn't upset you with my own gallery when you checked. I've a range of art, the most recent pics are commissions, as in I draw for someone else. The middle of my gallery, the older art with the different signature, is from when I did general pic sand pin ups to sell as prints and sold the originals at cons and Furbid long ago in the 90's. The very first pics are when I came back to drawing again after years of not, learning my way around FA and the edges.

If I did upset you, my apologies. If you'd rather that I not follow you, please let me know and I will. I won't be offended, it is your site after all.

dont worry! you have not upset me, the people who im directing this at is people who for example have offensive slurs(like the ones mentioned in my profile) in their profile info and who support rly bad things, i immerdiatelly block the people i dont want interacting with me, so there is a good chance if you can comment on my page (i think blocking here means you cant do that?) there is a good chance im just fine with you!

What I really dislike is when I put a pic up and the comments are rather lewd. I've seen this on other galleries as well. Can't they just say they like it and how? Must it be a comment of how the follower would like to do what is in the pic to the character themselves? Or when the pic is a general audience, as in simply a pose, why must the follower make comments speculating how the character would be in bed and what they'd like to do to them? Bleh.

Tbh I know what you mean and I've done the same before. Even if they're still watching you, at least you know they won't be commenting/noting you. They can watch 'n fave, I just don't ever wanna hear anything they have to say ever. I've had a few watchers whose profile can be summed up like "jerk, hates everybody, values own opinion above all else, does not care about well-being of others, racist, sexist, looks down on artists but still wants art from them" and I straight up hit that block button as fast as possible.

I'm the kind to say "Oh hey a new watcher, yay!" and take that as a small ego boost for a second.
The only times I choose to look through new watcher galleries if I've not uploaded anything in awhile and wonder, "Who are you and how did you get here?" because I don't tag adequately OR if somebody's sona in their icon is something I'm a fan of like Pokemon to see if I wanna watch back.

Totally understand your way of thinking though! It's different, and I like that.

I watch your work because I like your art. :) My gallery is full of porn because that's what people pay me for. :) If I ever offended you with a glance at my page, I apologize, though I assume this likely isn't directed at me, being trans myself and, of course, LGBT friendly. I do, personally, use the term 'herm' to indicate a hermaphroditic creature with both a male and female working set of genetalia or some combination of that if I have one that I'm working with that's called such, though -- I'm first and foremost a former field biologist and it seems like the correct term for such things unless they've come up with another one that's more politically correct. Anyways, don't mean to start anything, just sharing that if you see something like that, it might not necessarily be a bad thing, like if someone who actually is gay identifies with the term 'homosexual' or 'homo'. I dunno, I think if you're proud of a term and you own it, no harm done, right? To each their own, though -- my drawn-out point was, if you ever were offended specifically at the sexual content on my own personal page, I'm sorry. Definitely not everybody's cup of tea.

You must have one hell of a safe search filter! :) I know even when mine's on, that's sometimes when sometimes the weirdest stuff gets through.

the thing i am off about using the term h*rm because is because its used largely as a fetizisation of trans and intersex individuals (as you can see with the large porn base of it on this site), and that it is only a term that really can be used about creatures such as snails? so using it for people/humaniod characters isnt the best thing, if you get what i mean!

and some terms are definitely reclaimable for the people who have experienced the slurs used on/about them! i will not have an issue with that of course, i am just not comfortable with people who refer to others/others work with those slurs as well, since you cant reclaim one on behalf of others!

also yes i always have that safe for work filter going haha, and mostly just look at the art people i watch post since some things still do get through that filter on the front page!

but yeah this definitely wasnt directed at any one person in specific, mostly just me being confused about the sudden influx in people watching me that i have had to block right away this month!

To me, personally, I'd be much more ready to be offended if people were using the term 'trans' or 'transgender' for highly sexualized characters with unrealistic proportions, if you know what I mean? I'd rather see people have an alternate word to use for someone's idea of a character with a random collection of body parts for fetish purposes, y'know?

And yea, if someone's calling out other people with derogatory terms, absolutely I understand the offense 100%. I get pretty whacked out when people use derogatory derivations of 'transgender'.

I've seen a lot of people using those slurs too, and up until a couple months ago, I didn't even know they were slurs. So many people used them I though it was the norm, until one of my trans friends was like "no potato, you are not wise in these things. Bad words!" and then explained it.

Sad to see so many people using them. :/

and yeah it really is a shame its so normalized now that a lot of people dont even realize they are bad slurs, i am always up for explaining why however so i try to educate where i can! it can be rough to look up i imagine because a lot of people defend the use of the slurs xox
