*charming* I'm simply here to drown not just my woes, but my own physical being. *charming*
But seriously, let's see if I can get some productivity done while I do it as I have not been able to art as consistently as I want to, but probably not. Maybe. I'm like...... twwwwooooooooooo percent sure.

My friends are trying to do a Pathfinder campaign! Do you have any tips being a Pathfinder player yourself that my friends and I could be able to use to improve gameplay or stuff
Uhmmm... honestly I'm not sure what advice I can share given the state I'm in. I'm not an expert at tabletops at all, my group's pretty lenient and handwavy at times.
I guess, try not to fight over rules so much? I mean it really just depends on the group, and how chill everyone is/how serious they want to take it.
As a player, try not to be too "weird?" Typically a character you make is someone you're going to relate to, but don't go overboard with it, be mindful that there will be things you should probably keep to yourself. Example, if you're gay, and you want your character to be gay as well, don't be obnoxious about it or exaggerate this trait.
As a GM, it's pretty much the same thing. Like, be fair to the players, and try not to weird them out, etc.
If you simply must introduce something that you know he group isn't going to like, be subtle about it. When I was running my campaign I had Rez as an major NPC, and he did a few questionable things, but behind the scenes. My friends know about my skeleton fascination, but I also know I need to limit myself, so I made his personality related to the plot. By that I mean, he started to become more twisted when things were looking at their worst as he tried to do some good. This actually made my friends sympathize with him a bit. That way I at least make a somewhat likable character (even though he's still a creep) for my friends, and for my own benefit I actually get to have him my story.
I don't think any of this will help you, I'm not a very social or outgoing guy, but just be self aware. Don't try to stand out above anyone else, but at the same time try to have enough fun with it.
First off, did you mean you want more medieval themes or were you trying to stray away from them because you've been playing a lot of them?
I'm gonna assume you want more for now.
Darkest Dungeon. A rogue-like turn based RPG that, while not exactly medieval as it's more "Lovecraftian," still has a dark tone with hideous monsters and a group of adventurers set on taking them out. It can be rather frustrating at times and towards the end maybe even straight up unfair. Pray RNGesus is with you on this one. Light on story and heavy on grind, it's okay at best. Overall, play it for the tone and setting.
Starbound. A sandbox game that is also not at all medieval. However, there is a race in the game called the Glitch. They're robots who, mentally, are stuck in medieval times. Needless to say this is the race that I play as, aside from the fact that they are robotic knights that greatly appeals to me, they are the most charming race overall in my opinion. The game however is short in its story and you can run out of things to do rather quickly if building and creating is not your thing. Exploring with friends can be fun. Get's an okay from me as well.
For Honor. A heavy PvP focused, weapon combat based game that just came out. I don't own it nor do I have plans to get it as I'm absolute trash at these sorts of games, Darks Souls loosely related. Has knights in full plate armor, those are cool. But ultimately I'm just upset I can't enjoy the game for what it is because I'm garbage while it has things I adore, which makes it that much worse. I've only tried the beta when it was available, so buy at your own discretion.
That's sort of it. Like I said I don't own nor play a whole lot of games, and please really consider things before getting them. All of my recommendations I've listed I don't feel too strongly towards. I'd hate to influence you to get something that you wouldn't like.
Starbound was one of the games I've been playing alot of lately I love the glitch both lore and design wise. I also like playing the avians because of their Egyptian asthetic.
I think you might like dungeon souls or crawl, if not for gameplay, at least for the character and monster designs.
Dungeon souls- a top down rogue like where you can pick a class and attempt to escape the dungeon. Activate the runes on the level to activate the portal to the next level and after two levels fight a boss. It's gotten harder over the last few updates to it but I love the design.
Crawl- one of my favorite indie games, your goal is to escape the dungeon while fighting up to 3 other players or AI that are ghosts that will try to kill the hero and take his body to escape. The ghosts will summon and control monsters with abilities that get more and more difficult to kill the more they die. http://www.powerhoof.com/crawl/ the trailer always gets me pumped for some reason
Sorry that was long I like rogue likes and medieval/Lovecraft themes
I've heard of Crawl, but I might wait until they make online multiplayer assuming they ever do.
I forgot Necropolis is another rogue-like that was full of armor and skeletons, but i heard it wears out pretty fast. I love the art style, but that's about all I got from it.
It's fine man, I'm here to listen more so than to talk myself.
Honestly I need bursts of input/inspiration or anything from others from time to time.
