What's the difference between Standard and EX? If I want to do it more as a hobby than a full-time career is it OK to get Standard?

When thinking about just an hobby, then standard

The most notorious change to me is the frame limit for animation, because i use it to make clean up on my animations and i generally use more than 24 frames.


So if you are going to use it as a hobby, standert is ok for you :3

The infinite animation frame may actually be a deciding point - even as a hobby I have project ideas in mind far longer than 2 seconds.

Well that doesn't answer if the changing of lines they showed in that vid applies to both versions. I guess I'll have to look it up XD

XD Woo. I did try it, it's a bit difficult to use for me but I never used it before so who knows. Cool thing tho!

What do you typically use this program for? I'm not much of an artist myself, but I've always wanted to dabble in animation and need something for one off situations for lineart.

I use it specially for lineart con cell shaded pics.

And for animation i use it for Clean up (same thing that lineart), coloring and shading.

oh man, I wish I got EX when it was 60% off some time ago, I think it was before they added animation though, so I wouldn't have known either way.
But I love how they're always give out deals from time to time. Makes me want to make the purchase. : D
It's already good enough as a paint tool, but as animation software, it's fantastic for the price.
