This is pretty impressive.

A fully functional paint program running in Flash. It looks impressive, but I can't really test it out. My wacom tablet doesn't work unless I'm using a paint program. As soon as I click on the taskbar or anywhere outside of the paint program it stops responding, so I can't test it out since it's running in a firefox window. And my google-fu fails since I can't find a solution to this. :(
Anyway, check out the paint program, it's really impressive.

The responsiveness is a little tricky at first... but she seems to be rather interesting. It bogs down and responsiveness drops a lot when I tried to colour one of your pics (Sashi on the drawing board)... the ink tool only gave an "X" and no size-guide like the paint tool does....
Honestly, if you have a machine gutsy enough to make that run well in a browser, might as well save the programming overhead and install GIMP for free... at least you can customize it 'till the cows come home, get milked and bet buggered by pervs.
Sigh. Maybe I should start working with Flex, after all. I haven't seen any new paint programs in development that help save the oekaki community.
