a cool little personal update I guess :^)

I really, realllyyyyyy, dislike talking too much about my personal life on here in such a public area as my journal because I've noticed, in my nearly 7 years on this site, that people get kinda...weird??? about certain things???? Words are failing me at the moment lol but I'm sure most of you know what I mean.
Anywho, I'm pretty excited about this so I wanna talk about it lol
I'm sure some of you have probably seen the transfurs icon on my page (sandwiched between the hyena and brotherhood of steel ones rofl) and I haven't talked about it anywhere on here outside of that one icon. But like a year or so ago I was finally able to set aside some disgusssting internalized pseudo-rage and come to terms with the fact that I was trans and blah blah ablahksaf
I started hormones today WHOO HOOO!!!
That's all I wanted to say. Hope yall have an outstanding weekend.

Glad to hear from ya~
How've you been lately, friend???
Just got all my stuff moved into a new apartment with my fiance. It's feeling great! I am so happy. ^^
Oh wow that's awesome!!!!! I'm glad she was able to start doing it too :D!!! Good luck to her on the rest of her transition!!!!
Yeah, the furry community is pretty dang accepting of trans stuff/gender/sexual identities in general but sometimes people get a little, I dunno... Like, maybe a little too friendly about it, if you know what I mean lol....... I've never had a problem with someone getting frisky on any of my submissions or journals, but I've seen it happen on other pages s:
So, it's cool =)
Good luck !
I'm very lucky that there's a local pride clinic (like a doctors office especially for LGBTQ people) and they know all the legal-fu so insurance is covering it for me and I am 20,000 leagues of grateful for it lol
My doc says that there are only a very small handful of these clinics in the USA though )): The one I go to is in Cleveland, Ohio and a second one is being built here but I think the other ones are scattered mostly along the west coast and up into New England so if you're in the USA it might be worth a shot to look and see if you can find one in your area? I'm poor as shite and this is hardly costing me anything but for people transitioning from masculine to feminine it might be more costly (I'm saying this as like a general statement because I don't know which way you're transitioning and a few trans women/trans feminine people in my support group have mentioned how they have to take a couple different medications whereas I, a trans man, only have to take testosterone so insurance only has to cover that. Blockers/estrogen seem to be more expensive than T, unfortunately...................)
But, yeah, not all hope may be lost yet, my friend!! I wish you the best of luck.
still, I'm really happy for you. upward movement for any of us is upward movement for all of us.
You're doing great work volunteering for trans rights down there though; it's a hot mess of angry republicans and it needs more great people like you.
Thankya!!
someone who understaaaaands.
