Well... i know it sounds silly but i have used plastic bags before... XD

but if you are looking for a more permanent cover then im not sure what to do.
I highly recommend a cover though, my tail is ruined from people stepping on it and other things

I don't know exactly who makes them but I heard of these leather tail protectors that fursuiters in your situation get that protects the ends of the tails from getting dirty.
