"Coming Attractions" #43
February flew by so quickly, I didn't get to post many of the journals I'd promised 28 days ago (including my "Top Five List" [of 'faves' from 2016, originally intended for December of last year], a new edition of "Fur-One-One", my latest "2017 Animal Commercials" reviews, and some personal reflections of my life, as I'm about to turn 63 on March 1st). Hopefully, I'll have more time to present these postponed journals throughout the new month...
In addition, I hope to post new editions of "EFF" comic gags (some of them with newer acronyms of 'fat furry' characters), "Front & Back" gags (both regular and 'fat furry' versions), and "Zootopia" fan art (including one more lettered Sudoku puzzle). I'll also have a few more surprise illustrations from other venues (such as my latest 'cover art' for an issue of the "Oriole Sun" - the monthly newsletter of my condo complex in Margate, FL).
As for 'photo-ops', I'll have more fauna-related artwork by my late mother Sheila Shell Martinez, and some unique snapshots of some recent animal encounters (taken by me and my brother Glenn) - all to be posted on "Throwback Thursdays".
And I'm already gearing up for April - which is "National Poetry Month" - as I hope to post brand new "EFF" comic gags with an occasional haiku and/or limerick. I might also experiment with 'haiku strips' featuring some of the "Zootopia" characters. Here's one example I plan to illustrate:
'Officer Hopps' hates / Her new ZPD nickname: / "Long Ears of the Law"!
As always, your 'feedback' (through comments and shouts) are welcome!
