Well...for the past couple of days, Bel has been bugging me to go to the doctor. I don't know what started it, but suddenly she's all worried about me. Then yesterday she emailed me an article about Billy Mayes, the TV spokesbear (although he wasn't gay, he was definitely a bear!) who died last weekend. Turns out he died of complications caused by his high blood pressure and an enlarged heart. The very same thing that I have.

I've definitely noticed that I have been having shortness of breath and headaches and nausea and several of the other symptoms that are associated with hypertension disorder lately--more than I normally have I mean. I'm turning 45 this month and even though Billy Mayes was 50...that's ONLY 5 years older than me--and he was at least 50-75 pounds lighter than me. Mind you, I don't spend my time yelling at everything...that might help.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just feeling down because of the way things have been going lately and shouldn't let all these morbid thoughts bother me. But of all the celebrities dropping dead lately--Billy hit closest to home.

Guess I'd better make that doctor appt.
