I can't speak for everyone, but I do actually read your journals and am interested in what you have to say, but prefer to remain a lurker who does not comment on stuff. I suspect there are others who do the same.

To be honest for me its more I don't use most social media, I've never been social except in select situations. I don't do face book, Twitter, snap chat or frequent chat rooms. And honestly on FA few people ever say anything to people they don't know. I almost never get a comment on my journals, and maybe 1 comment for every 50 favorites. I feel bad that I don't get to know many people, but I've never good at making friends.

I hate to tell you but, this is sort of a norm. I've put up journals before expressing myself, even when in a really good mood but no one will say anything on them. It's also not that people don't care, I mean given you didn't think anyone would care if you started posting on FA and yet you got one hell of a welcoming with people re watching, saying how they missed your work, and well wishes that everything in your life was going great. It's more so that alot of people aren't too open or really know what to say. This isn't to say people don't read your journals as Kappa just said. Can't say for everone but people do read your journals but most just don't really know what much to say. Really the only time a journal gets alot of comments anymore is if they are 1. fussing about something that is a hot topic 2. opening for commissions, or 3. moving their work somewhere else off the site. You just got to take things in stride man.

Well, not going to argue with you there, but sadly that's how it is everywhere online these days. Heck even friends of mine rarely say anything on my journals or what stuff I post up, but they still look at them. It's better than getting hate.

Then they weren't worth the time. Honestly looking at your page journals, all of them have a few comments on them. The only ones I see that have no comments are the ones that have nothing at all such as the journal before this one. Don't know if that's a glitch or something, but you do have people commenting on your work and journals so you shouldn't be so down about this. Mostly the gloomy feeling the journal gives off I think chased those two people away but eh, I'm the pot calling the kettle black. But look at it this way, you aren't getting any hate comments unlike some people do. Maybe you should take a week off from the net to just relax and clear your mind.

We read your journals. The time we have for this site is limited. But you and your contributions to this community are loved.
