Yes she definitely is. I love her dearly and she is very upset about this. So I am trying to help as much as I can.

Most of the time people don't realize this is a problem. Before I really joined the fandom I used other people's characters in roleplay, and had no idea that it could hurt someone. Just asking them nicely usually does the trick!

Neither of us can seem to dm her. So I tweeted at her but dunno what else to do.

I'm in the same boat as you, i don't use twitter enough to know how to handle it. I would try to show people that they are not the proper owner, but other than that i could offer any real good advice sorry :(

Maybe for the time being, she could go back over all her images and watermark them heavily? I know this wont help for the art that is already being used and it would take lots of time, but it will help later on so more isn't stolen!

I am also currently looking into the situation on twitter and ill see if i can find any forums to help with the situation. I have friends that have had there sona's and characters stolen and its never fun, i really do hope the situation gets resolved soon! Best wishes to Kalyrra! <3

Dude there is so much that is just very wrong about it. That's Kaly's sona, she has it posted that her art and ocs are not to be used. That OC is the only one of her OCs in a committed exclusive relationship, with one of my OCs at that. So like this person is using an OC that doesn't belong to them, who is not supposed to be sexually active with others, yet is smutting it up all over twitter? Ugh its just so bad.

People need to understand that just because it's on the internet, it doesn't mean "OH HURR HURR I CAN USE IT SINCE IT'S ON THE INTERNET". If it clearly states "DO NOT USE" then don't use it. I don't see why it's so hard for people to get that through their thick, primate skulls.

I imagine that the person probably snatched them up off some random site. Obviously not from this one. People just think they are random faceless characters artists just pluck from their heads that have no connection to anyone. The fact of the matter is that these are characters we crafted, paid for, love, own, etc. and they have no right to use them to get off or help others get off. >:|

Well if push comes to shove, she (or the artist that made that drawing) can resort to a DMCA claim and force her to remove it off of Twitter.
Another artist I watch had the same problem, the DMCA takedown took care of it right quick.

Not cool bro. It could be possible that they just like the character and wanted to use them but didn't know that permission from the original character's owner had to be given first. If they are using Chloe while knowing this and simply not caring than maybe report it to either FA and they'll sort it out or perhaps Twitter as well. I'm sure if they find out that an original character is being used by someone else who is NOT the owner than they can be charged with plagiarism/copyright infringement.
