Yep. It's official. Another furry convention forever closing their doors. I haven't been to it, but heard some good things about it. Wanted to go there one day.
Don't know why they decided to end it, but from what I heard. It's because in the recent two years, many of the bondage, babyfur, and other fetish people decided to crash the convention and make it seem like it's nothing more than a fetish convention. And that's probably why the hotel wouldn't want to resigned them again and no other hotel in the area wanted them as well.
Too bad really. I think that's the same thing happened to one furry convention in California. Called Convergence or something other. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyways, still plenty of other conventions to go to. I hadn't been to one in the last four years. I really need to find a way to get back in the groove.

Every convention center talks to the others. So if you have issues, you can BE ASSURED that all the others will know about them when you go to move to a new location. If you are ignorant to the point you refuse to see a problem and yet you think your so big you don't have to worry about it, Your as good as dead. Every problem is serous, and you need to address every single one of them with a level of professionalism. You can't stop foolish nature, but you need to correct the actions of someone or a group if they are damaging your conventions reputation.
