Should a 16 year old get a bellybutton ring?
My cousin just got hers yesterday and even though it isn't any of mine or my mom's business, we feel that she really shouldn't have. She only got it because her friend who is 18 years old got hers done.
It was either a ring or getting a tattoo

I remember being 16 and these things never crossed my mind, probably because I'm a guy and don't ever want a bellybutton ring. A tattoo on the other hand I wanted, but I seem to be allergic to almost everything and I don't want to chance getting a really bad reaction.

I'd remind her that her friend is 18. Perhaps she'll grow out of wanting it so badly after the novelty wears thin. Although, I guess it's better than a Tattoo at this age...
