One thing I remember about Albert Temple, also known as 
GeneCatlow, was that he was very kind--even helpful--to a mere fanfic writer who was doing a story on his 'verse, answering several questions, and even saying "I'Brolent would not do this, but Martin Kanine might", and many other facts.
I know this because I was that fanfic writer.
