There are some that are just so poorly done and weird. If I had a choice between old fashioned pencils and pens and MS paint abominations, I'd go for the pens and pencils. They're more lucrative, plus who doesn't love doodling with them? :D

The sudden uptick in people using FA as a naked selfie gallery is most disturbing.

Isn't that even against the ToS or something? Indeed, it's really annoying. :/

My experience with the TOS of FA is having some of my more innocent stuff smacked down, and then finding entire accounts dedicated to the same stuff continuing to exist.

So yeah, the TOS is only there when it's convenient for them.

FA needs a SF or inkbunny style blacklist and a proper tagging system, i've resorted to using the Filter Affinity addon for Firefox to filter submissions on the main page

I never go to the front page. My bookmark takes me to submissions... aka the shit I want to see x3

Sometimes I see some gems on the front page and discover great and friendly artists that I never would have otherwise, but yeah, it can often be quite the cesspool as well. :/ Like people said, the site needs a filtering system ASAP, otherwise the keywords don't really do a lot of good on their own (search picks up descriptions and titles as well).
