Cartoons I pretty much go here https://www.watchcartoononline.io/ and pick at random to finish a series
But what helps me is to try to keep myself busy. I like to draw or write or play a game, but sometimes, I am too tired or my eyes don't want to see very well. When that happens, I put on music and try to focus on one particular instrument or pattern in the song, and it is very relaxing for me for some reason.
Good sleep really helps as well. I have a very hard time sleeping, but when I do, I feel much better.
I do not know enough movies to recommend, but I love cartoons. Gravity Falls is my favorite, but also Adventure Time, Sym-Bionic Titan, and a lot of others.
I know this is a long post but I hope it helps, and I hope you feel better soon. I know it's tough, but I wish you the best! 💜
I hope you feel better soon <3
in terms of cartoons I could recommend: Adventure time for sure, but it really depends on what you like xD;
-learning stuff. even passively, even useless facts, but just learning feels like a good use of time and it can help get over that "useless" feeling when you think you waste time. watching crash course videos, documentaries, even browsing askreddit or informational forums or whatever, just as long as you're picking up some fun facts you know?
-exercise, and this one can be really hard when you're always tired and depressed. you don't have to work out at the gym every day or whatever, but even a walk around the block can make you feel better. this is super stereotypical advice but I promise it does work, I'm pretty sure that having to go to judo or rugby at least once a week is what keeps me sane rn lol.
good luck and I hope the road to recovery is swift <3
