I would say on shading texturing, and lights. Lke your last SCD 2 otter, highlights seem to be too simplistic and unrealistic as much as I enjoy that image, some body parts wouldn't have just circles, and would be lines deformed squares mostly folowwing shape not being on top, but the way you draw is also acceptable I guess. Other than those not really so important problems I would say just draw alot.
Texturing is not really necessary, it would be fun to see more detailed fur(not hair perfect but with some shading, I thing S-nina has good hair, but texturing is big time sink and not every artists does it. shading is hard to tell, like something seems off, maybe I am wrong, but something looks off, maybe lack of background, and attachment of shading to background, than it is ok and just my bias.
---
Character wise I dunno you pretty ok, and it is easy to come with you to compromise, and you are quite reasonable... Maybe worry a bit less about what others think of you or what should you do, they would ask you to draw or if you are interested in some themes. But I would say just be yourself I guess.
