My not-so-terrible day...

The following statement is TRUE.

"Since my last journal a lot has happened, both good and Bad.
First the Good: on Wednesday morning I made the three hour trek to Rhode Island to go see my mate
akun. The ride went pretty smooth, but the hole time I had butterflies in my stomach (no i didn't eat any). I guess I was just excited because I was going to be spending the whole day with Akun and his friends. So I get there and my god did he give an epic hug, I didn't want to let go, (so I didn't, I'm actually still there lol). After saying hi to his mom we were off to Best Buy to replace his car stereo just just got stolen ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/809657/ ). After some shopping around he found one he liked and scheduled for it to be installed at 2 O'clock, being 10:30 am this meant we has time to kill, and Kill it we did, (in the face with a glock if you must know) We went to the Mall and Akun pre-ordered Tekken 6 for PS3 (he got the PS3 version so he could play with 
ukent so now there is no chance of him playing me on xbox which is good cause I suck at fighter games :P ). Then we got some awesome hot dogs for lunch. Then we went to Newbury Comics to find something and Akun bought me some Super Awesome Fantastic Happy Fun Time Fizzy Fruit Drinks (I don't remember the name but they were Japanese, so its possible), and they were awesome! Then it was back to Best Buy to wait, We played some Rock Band, then went over to the Apple section to browse the web. Akun had to hold me back from jumping up and correcting the Best Buy Rep from giving some customer the wrong info. Then we got the word to go and bring Akun's car around to get the stereo installed. But before we left the computers we left FA up and It's So Cold in the D playing. After they finished up we headed back to Akun's place. Even though we really didn't do much, I was happy we just got to hang out with each other, which we really don't get to do enough.
Then it was off to meet with Akun's friends at their place. We pretty much spent the rest of the day there, just hanging out watching TV and eating pizza, and let me tell you, IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! His friends are so cool!!!! Even though they have only know Akun was gay for a month or so they were totally cool with us! It was so relieving to be able to hug and kiss each other in front of them! This was huge for me, because one on my major concerns about coming out was that I would always have to be private with my affections! I really am thankful for them being so awesome (hell, they even yelled at me for apologizing about kissing him to much!). After watching David Bowie's Bulge star in Labyrinth and some Family Guy we all decided to call it a night. We pushed together their couches to make to make an awesome fort/bed (that was also amazingly comfortable). Then it was time for some EPIC snuggling! and OMFG was it EPIC!!!! it was so epic that we made god pissed (he throw rain, thunder and lightning at us). All-in-all I'm going to have to say that this was the best day in my life!!!!!!!.
And then today happened. After some more snuggling we got up and got dressed, when my phone rang. It was my brother calling me to inform me that my Mom told my dad I was gay. While I was going to tell him soon this was to soon, and not how I wanted it to happen. Although the news did seem a little better than than I would have expected, as he wasn't mad but just upset, it was still enough to ruin my day. The rest of the day was spent eating lunch and saying a long good bye, then it was time for me to leave, or so I thought, apparently when I got out of my car the other day i some how left the interior lights on and completely drained the battery. Luckily Akun came to my rescue and was able to provide me a jump start. Then came the lonesome ride home though pouring rain.
Once I got home I had to face my dad. And it went better than I expected but, the said thing though is that he basically refused to change his views on it, and his solution is to simply ignore it. It's sad to think that he is willing to go though life with out ever wanting to know about his sons personal life because he is unwilling to change. While he still loves me and isn't going to kick me out of the house, I can definitely see us becoming more distant in the future. Which is very sad because we have a good relationship, but to be honest if my choice was to make my dad happy by ignoring my life or ignoring my dad and living my life, I'd have to go with the latter, I just hope it doesn't have to come to that.
But for know the battle is over, I'm out and there is no going back. It's funny how not even 6 months I would not have seen this coming. I'm just glad that I can finally start to live my life. I just want to thanks everyone here for all their support, there is now way I could have done this alone. akun you gave me more support than you could ever imagine, if It wasn't for you this would have been way to much for me to handle. Ukent and 
rioaka you guys are the first gay couple I ever met, you guys made me comfortable with with my own thoughts, plus you're just good friends. 
theworldfamousic you're just a cool guy and it's just really cool to met a random person on the internet who is willing to read though my boring journals.
