Well, I have seen the latest line of live action remakes that Disney has done for the past few years. Beauty and the Beast, the 1991 animated classic (and my 4th fav movie of all time) just got the live treatment. How do I feel about it? Well...

I really enjoyed it, despite some faults. It was miles better than the 2015 Cinderella version, but last year's Jungle Book is still the best IMO. But, I thought this was gonna be a shot for shot remake of the animated movie. Well, I was half right. They did some copy and paste dialogue and scenes from the original film, but they did add new scenes as well. I won't get it away for spoilers sake. Is it sad that I think Luke Evans and Josh Gad were the best singers in this movie? They did a great job on the song, Gaston.

All and All, This was a good film, but flawed. Nothing will ever top the original film, but this film did capture some of the magic from it. ^_^
