3 years now and This Fandom has finally made me fill old

So being the furry fandom or part of it at least has finally made me feel old. I've lately been having new people come up to me and say I was the reason they got into the fandom and hyper for that reason along with purgy. It's a sweet compliment but it left me more so think wow time really flies doesn't it. I joined in 2013 but I didn't do anything until 2014 on this site and I didn't create the idea of Peter the hyper bustyboy/femboy hedgehog until late into 2014 too. So its really only been less then 3 years I guess been seriously in the fandom.
What got me into the fandom was purgy partly my self and now I'm great friends with her. But for people to now sometimes say I partly the reason they got into it is weird feeling. I feel like I'm to young or at least I'd like to be young. But 3 years wow time goes by. I can still remember going through the concept of my OC Peter which represents me in stream when creating him.
I don't know I think it just feels weird for people to now start putting me in the same category as purgy I just think I'm not ready to be regarded as a senior in the fandom. Plus I don't like to be put on a pedestal unless I truly did something good for everybody something that's actually worthy of praise and then I still feel awkward.
Anyways just wanted to share my feelings with whomever is listening I guess. I just feel I'm to young lol

I still have some memory when this site was created back in 05, but for some reason it took me till 08 to make a account 🤔
As for the topic at hand, I feel that our personal experience is more important than our age these days. I think Peter is really cute and he's been in some really good "and HOT" artworks. So if people saw those and decided to get into the fandom due to being exposed to him along with the likes of Purgy in only 3 years. than that's pretty cool!
At Least that's my opinion anyway! :)
