[SOLVED] Mission Impossiburu - Volito 2 on Windows 8.1 Pro
8 years ago
Yup. Finally found working driver.
Only after 8? days, some reverse-engineering + "cheking it's guts up with other models of same era" ))
(i really lost count for time, ain't i...heh.)
Driver .EXE name is PenTablet_533-2.
By the default settings it works perfectly - no lost connection from pen to tablet,
pressure sensitivity working as it should be, mapping woking too,
Windows Ink (that is a little buggy, but helps sometimes)....
What should i say? Was it worth it?
For it's price - 'round 10-12$ on "russian craiglist" in "slightly used" condition...
It worth every penny. Cause you'll get a good piece of 'ware to work with.
And have fun reanimating it for modern software if it older than 14 years, definitely )))
But really... i'm glad i got it working again.
I suppose, now it's time for me to teach myself to draw in trad. again.... after some time. )

More like ebay, but with less control over stuff. (numbers to call on & no refunds, mostly)
But there's always some cool stuff. Like this book reader, for example.
18$ and it's new old stock. A great deal for some rare tech stuff collector.
or some awfuly cheapo deals - like one i've scored - slightly used HP Vectra VL6 with missetted onboard dip switch for less then 2$.
Still using it, cleaned it up and reanimated it in it's original glory. Just need some retrobright for yellowed plastic, but i'm okay even with yellowed.
I mostly search there for some old computer parts and DIY audio components - headphone drivers & parts, cables, and stuff.
Most "surely useful" - that the site have a town search. Useful if don't want to send it up via mail.
(and some people even saying in their ads, what they ain't gonna send it as a parcel outside their own town to someone far away...
they just generally afraid to get scammed, i suppose.)
too bad we don't have goodwill here.... eh.
