Heya everybody!
As many of you know this year was really good for me! And the biggest reason was that there was food nearby! I know, right? You wouldn't think that food would be a major difference, but it was! The past years I have neglected to feed myself properly, thus not feeling well by Sunday. With the new venue came new food places, which made it much easier to get fed.

I flew in on the Thursday evening, with  alphazeron picking me up once I got there! He took me to get food and we went to the hotel for the evening. I went to the front desk, and got my key for the room I was staying in...went up and into the room and scared the roomies! Which was awesome! hehehe :3 I tried to get to reg that evening, but they didn't want money yet. I ended up finding  catmonkshiro  nyomi and  Felinaeus and we talked for a bit, then went to bed because I didn't switch my hours before the con.

Friday morning the entire room woke up at 4-4:30 am and we had to wait until Timmies opened so we could get breakfast. I decided I would buy for the room, so Kane (no idea what his FA is) and I went down to food it up. Watched the other roomies play Pokemon FireRed, then went down to reg (which was kinda annoying, tbh), but found out that  manlantrio and I would be sitting next to each other! Finally got to bring my stuff downstairs to the Dealer's Den so I could set up. Shiro and Mothy lent me some gridding, which was awesome since I didn't bring mine with. The first day started slowly, but was really good overall (especially when Alpha brought me a couple cans of energy drink) I went to get food after that and then worked on the one badge I was commissioned for, getting interrupted when the roomies came back with an interesting person....to which I then decided to go down to the Games Room to play games with people I knew,  pakesh and I ended up playing retro games for about an hour and a half before I went back up to the room for sleep.

Saturday morning I got up pretty early, went down to the den and rearranged a few things on the table and finished the badge. The day began, and I got to chat and have fun, as most of my sales were premade items this year. So glad I took the time to make them. After the den closed I went down to meet people for food, but found another group instead. After getting no response from the original group I was going to have dinner with, I found myself being walked out the door by the Montreal furs (you know who you are!) and then amoeba'd off again and found our way after a great amount of discussion over where to eat, at Jack Astor's. I'd never had their food, and ordered something at least somewhat familiar, which was very tasty. We played Pokemon Go all the while, I dropped my first Lure, and like the giant child I am took great enjoyment of spinning my phone on the table to watch the character spin with it. We walked back to the hotel, Manny and I stopped to get beverages, and when we were very nearly back to the hotel we found out we had to go back to the restaurant for a lost item. We went all the way back, retrieved it and then went back to the hotel. I went back up to the room and we watched the Oilers play against the Canucks. (Oilers won 2-0). Fell asleep fairly late.

Sunday dawns to me escaping the room before the roomies woke up. I went down to the Den, waited until it opened for dealers, and then I went to Timmies, ordered food and won the Food Lottery (not a RUTR, lost all weekend) getting an extra sandwich cause they goofed. Relaxed at the table for the most part, had some fun, shot the sh*t with Manny, Shiro and the boog, sold some bandannas, and generally just had a good time. The last hour before the den closed I decided to have a little bit of fun with the music, turning it up to Rick Roll the general area, then just playing random songs and singing along with them. We deconstructed, I took my stuff upstairs, washed my hair and went to wait until after closing ceremonies was over (I didn't want to attend and find out what theme I was going to miss...) but ended up going when I read a strange tweet from the con. On another note, we raised more than 10k for the charity! (whole con, not me) After the ceremonies ended it was time for Mandarin! Ate so much this year I felt so full! Kudos to Shiro for arranging a train ride for 24 people and having all of us make it to and from the event without problems! We got back to the hotel, and ended up hanging out with people before going to a hosted werewolf game, whacking my head on the window beam, but am okay. That's it for the con!

Trip back was okay, and I got back to sleep pretty early.
