If you'd like something more 'adult' then I recommend the Anita Blake series by Laurel K. Hamilton.

Overlord - A VRMMO story centered around an OP main character who finds himself adjusting to a life caught in the game, except with a new setting and an army of loyal NPCs who see him as a god. A good amount of focus is on the main character who is adjusting to suddenly having immense power and authority all while worrying about a new world with new rules.

i noticed that vrmmo type story light novels are pretty popular on amazon!

If you don't mind Science Fiction / Military, StarWars Battlefront - Twilight Company, by Alexander Freed, is amazing. ;w;

It's a more realistic look on the star wars universe. Since it takes place through the eyes of the soldiers fighting for the rebellion. People who grew up not knowing anything about "the force" or Jedi/Sith, or just believing they are bedtime stories. Also, its cannon =w= (NOT legacy)

there's this book called "A Magic of Dawn". Not sure if it's on Kindle, but it was a fun series to read
