How long have you been in the community?
Eight years off and on, but now I'm here to stay!
How did you find furry?
Well, I discovered fursonas first before I discovered the fandom. A friend of mine on a site I used to go on had a fursona and I thought they looked like fun, so I made up one too. Her name was Sapphireclaw and she was a flying blue wolf with tiger stripes. lol Then a couple years later a friend from high school introduced me to the fandom.
What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
I've always loved animals ever since I was a kid and I've always been really into cartoons that involve talking animals or animals that stand on two legs.
What's Furry to you?
Someone who likes animal characters with human characteristics and is in the furry fandom.
If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
I'd say, "Yeah, I'm a furry, so what?"
What are your favorite aspects of our community?
The creativity!
Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)
Yeah. lol
What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?
Odd fetishes. :/
How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
They annoy me so much, so I guess pretty strongly. >.>
How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
Very strongly. I don't like being judged based on my interests, especially if it's a misconception about my interest and isn't the truth!
We all know furries have a lot of sexual aspects in this fandom, what's your opinion on it?
I don't really have one. People can do whatever they want. Even I enjoy some mature art every now and then. lol

My fursona is a white-tailed deer named Fay!

Yeah!

Yes, but no, my spirit animal is not a deer. It's either a lion or an elephant. I need to meditate on it more to find out for sure which it is.

Yes, I love going to cons! I've never been to a furry con though, sadly. :( I want to go to the one in my state, Furry Fiesta, but it's too far from where I live. v.v But I do go to anime, video game, and comic book cons frequently.

No, I don't know if there is any. I need to find out. xD
