Updates and apology on inactivity
Hey everyone,
I know I've been extremely inactive here for the past whatever days (months(ish?) for particular websites). I am really sorry about that. I've just been under so much stress and work that I just can't handle doing any real art for my self (anthro for FA or feral for DA). So I am very sorry about my inactivity and I will try and get some art for you guys once I can. It most likely won't be for another 2-4 weeks (or so depending), so please forgive me for this.
Updates: -Reasons why I've been so inactive
* I am still catching up on con merchandise for my business partner. The con is Furry Weekend Atlanta (FWA) on April 6-10 and it has been extremely hectic because I have to finish around 20 posters and other smaller things and get them printed before hand. An I basically only have intill the 1st of April to do all this, which is explained why bellow. I am also stressing because of the impending realization that the other smaller projects I wanted to do for this convention I most likely won't get to complete; which has not helped at all with my mental state.
* I am also moving to a new apartment on April 1st (bad timing right?). As you can see this also means that I not only have had less time to work on my con merchandise, due to having to pack and plan the move, but it has been extremely stressful and will make it nearly impossible for me to work on any con material between the 1st and the 6th. As I will not have a desk at the new location till after the convention when I can pay for it. (I wish I could open up commissions on here and FA so that I could possibly get the desk before the con and maybe keep working on con stuff after the move and before we leave for Atlanta, but that will not only put even more stress on me but also make me feel terrible that I won't be able to even work on any of them till after I get back...)
** I have also been extremely exhausted because I have not only been doing really late nights (and will probably have to do an all nighter or two in the following days) but I also have to keep working my second job, driving for Uber. I only drive early in the mornings; 5am-8am+. Yes I chose these hours but they are the only time I feel comfortable driving, as where I live the later you drive the more intoxicated riders become. Thus meaning the more dangerous/uncomfortable to me they feel.
* Lastly, I am getting an emotional support dog when I get back from the convention (April 10th). Before, though, they can let the dog I want to live with us they have to do a house inspection (on April 2nd) to make sure it's a safe place. They really are just checking that the future dog owner doesn't have anything dangerous in their backyard (which we don't because we don't have a backyard) or that they aren't hoarders (and we are not because he will be the 1st animal I have had in the past few years) or have any furniture that make hurt the dogs skin. I am getting a Greyhound and they have very sensitive and thin skin. My poor to-be dog already has scars on his sides and front of paws from his track days, so it's already obvious about his thin skin and pelt. I am positive I will pass this inspection but I can also be a worried-wort and since the inspection is literally the day after we start moving into the new place, it has been freaking me out. An obviously extremely stressful.
*** The GOOD news: after this con and my pupper moves in, I will be free of major con prep for who knows how long. I don't know when the next con I'll be working will be/is as my business partner is the main one who handles all of that. Though with her also dealing with moving to a new place (which is much farther and will be much more difficult than mine (she is moving her whole condo to a house out of state. I am just moving to a new apartment in my town), I am pretty sure it's going to be a good amount of time intill I have to worry about any major con prep after this con. Which is good as well because it means I will have more time for school studies (I only have 1 more year after this semester to go) an can really focus on training my new dog to be a service dog, not just an emotional support dog. This also means I will have more free time to do free personal art for myself, websites I'm on, and groups.
