Why little Jinxy hates Discord.

This comes up a lot so Jinx will just make this and link to it each time he is asked.
Discord was advertised as being good for gamers and so a lot of them started using it. Because people do not like using more than one thing at a time they stopped using other things like Skype and Telegram. Because they where told Discord was good to use well playing games they did just that. Because they think it will be easy to use Discord and play games at the same time they play games a lot more. They Most fo them are wrong though and so now they spend all the time playing games and not talking to the little panda.
Jinx is OK with people playing as many games as they want, but gets lonely people do not poke them, and whenever they are on Discord all they can do is think of all the people on who moved to there and no longer talk to them which just makes him feel depressed.
And that is why Jinx doesn't use Discord.

you didnt specify why you dont like discord. everyone is busy gaming instead of talking?
uhhh... in my case nothing changed. its just another chatbox i ignore most of the time. and unlike skype, i dont get notified when its minimised
Little Jinx shouldn't dislike a software just because of what people does on it.
No matter the service you use, if people never initiate a conversation with Jinx, they'll continue.
I tend to not initiate conversations myself because I'm shy, or often focused on other things. But I always answer to people who talks to me...
The reasons I like Discord over Skype are actually that yes, it's better for gaming. And also for sharing art, videos, better at organizing things for groups.
There's also a crystal clear difference when it comes to voice quality.
Also, no adds.
Also, when it comes to security, you won't receive random baidu links and stuff like that here. Plus you never expose your IP adress to others, since everything goes through Discord's servers. (Skype is P2P, your IP is always exposed unless you're behind a VPN.)
Two factor authentication is also a plus that Skype doesn't have.
Anyway. I'm just a bit sad because that kinda ruins my chances of ever talking to little Jinx. x:
Also, nothing prevents the Jinx to try to talk to the people in question. If they ignore Jinx though, that's kinda rude, and Jinx shouldn't feel sad in that particular case. x:
I guess I'll just open Skype sometimes to poke a Jinx. x:
